My Wreath was featured on another blog this week and I have gotten quite a few positive responses and people suggesting or asking if I was planning to sell wreaths. So, if anybody has interest and would like to purchase a wreath please let me know. I will charge $25 per wreath plus shipping. Obviously all wreaths will be custom made so they will not look exactly like one pictured above. If you have specific colors in mind I can try to match them. Thank you :)

I love to hang a new wreath for every season, but wreaths can be expensive if you purchase them pre-made in stores. Even though I consider myself somewhat crafty, trying to make a wreath from scratch can be time-consuming and still ends up being costly. I have found this to be the easiest and most cost-effective way to create a seasonal wreath, and if you already own a glue gun you are halfway there! I usually go to whichever craft store is offering the best coupon, and I purchase a bunch of prearranged artificial flowers along with a grapevine wreath.
The pre-arranged flower bunches work the best because a professional floral designer already did the work of picking the flowers and colors that compliment each other so it saves you from hours of walking up and down aisles trying to pick and choose through the masses of artificial flowers. The next step will be to take your pre-arranged flower bouquet and cut all of the flower off. So it will look something like this:
Next I like to arrange the flowers around my wreath until I find my favorite layout. Once you find the perfect layout you will take your pre-heated glue gun and attach the flowers to the wreath. I like to really coat the back of the flower with glue to make sure it sticks to the wreath. Do not worry about being overly gentle with the flowers...you can really push the stem into the grapevine wreath in order to get a good hold.
If you feel like you have some bare spots on your wreath you can take some of the leaves that were left over from your pre-arranged flower bunch and glue them throughout your wreath.
And it is as easy as that! I spent $3.00 on the grapevine wreath and $6.00 on my pre-arranged bunch of flowers. So for less than $10 you can create a new spring wreath that will brighten up your front door! By they way, I like my flowers to only go halfway around my wreath, but if you prefer to cover the entire wreath you would probably need to purchase two bunches of pre-arranged flowers :)

I am a huge reader and I adore my Nook. I was a little worried when I purchased it that I would go into debt from having to buy e-books, especially since I read 3 to 4 books a week. I was thrilled to find out that the Nook is compatible with library books and as long as your library offers e-books you can check them out for free and they are easily readable on the Nook. I have had the Nook for 3 months and have yet to pay for a book. Now, this is not the color Nook...it is the black and white Wifi version that normally retails for $149.99. Barnes and Noble sells their refurbed Nooks through Buy.com. This is a reputable company and I have made many purchases from them in the past (including my Nook)! The best thing about the refurbished Nook is that it still has the 1-year Barnes and Noble warranty!

Have you ever heard of ArtsCow? If not you are missing out on some great deals. Right now they are featuring a deal on 3 custom photo cosmetic bags shipped to you for only $8. This company does excellent work and I order from the frequently. You are wondering what the catch is aren't you? No deal can be this good. The only thing I will warn you of is that this is an international company so orders do take a little longer to be delivered. I have noticed that 4 weeks is the average turn around time. These would make cute Easter or Mother's Day gifts. They are perfect for all ages...even little girls would love to use these for their nail polishes or pencils. There is no limit to this order (you could order 6 for $16 total) and all 3 bags can be completely custom and different from each other. In order to get this deal create and add the bags to your cart and then enter CODE: IWD38BAGS

It is that time of year again...the weather is warming up and the windows are opening to air the house out. Thank goodness for Spring! It is also time for me to put away all of my yummy smelling winter candles and cinnamon Glade Plug-In scents and replace them with the lighter smells of the season. That is why I was so excited to be asked to join SC Johnson Smart and Easy Spring Cleaning campaign by Bzz agent (more on Bzz agent in a later post) Not only did I receive a delicious smelling scented candle and Plug-In in the mail, but I had to run out and buy a couple more for my self. The Jump for Joy and Sparkle of Spring candle both smell so light and fresh and adding the Jump for Joy Glade Plug-In sealed the deal. My whole house smells fresh and spring like. I still miss my yummy winter candles, but these products are helping ease the pain (so is the 70 degree weather today!!). Walmart is selling these products this week on special 2 for $5. Follow the link below to print out coupons to make the savings even better. Let me know what you think of the new scents!
